Built as "Project Miller" (as featured on several Forum boards). We set out to build a very fast boat on a "budget". Although no wide open throttle runs have been made to date, our initial wet test suggests this boat will easily run 70+.
This boat features a fresh "434" Stroker Big Block Chevrolet. This unique motor is built using a 396 block and 454 crank. Features special made pistons, 10.25:1 compression, rec port heads, Chet Herbert hydraulic roller cam, MSD ignition and dual 600 Holleys on a low rise Chevrolet manifold.
The Jacuzzi WJ jet is also unique. Josh assembled this jet using a very rare Jacuzzi PX 5 blade impeller and matching bowl. Bearing carrier and cap were custom made. The jet also features and American Turbine droop snoot and an unusual internally controlled early Dominator trim diverter.
Currently equipped with 8 gallon fuel cell and two seats. Could easily be reconfigured for lake boat. |
