This is a 1978 16 ft. JETSTER. Bought the boat last summer. When purchased it had a little noise in top end, the owner said it was because we were running it dry.?? Later to find out after a couple of short trips out and over heating, then not starting, I pulled the motor to find out that one main rod cap both nuts had come loose and let the piston hit the valve and ended that motor. Had S&S motor rebuilders out of Spokane Wa. rebuild me another another 403 Buick,and installed bigger cam and a marine kit.  Removed the wet jet headers, and installed Hardin logs through the hull, got tired of being burned getting in and out from wake bd,or skiing. Looking forward to a great summer, and just purchased a new 30' parasail.  Only thing I am looking for is a windshield, and any info on JETSTER BOATS THANK YOU and you guys have a great web site.
